Listen "Daily Devotions: A Great Lesson to Learn - August 25, 2025"
Episode Synopsis
Scripture Reading: 2 Corinthians 1:8-10
In today’s Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall reminds us of Paul’s testimony of going through overwhelming trials in Asia, where he felt crushed and even expected to die. Yet in the midst of suffering, Paul learned a powerful truth: to stop relying on himself and to fully trust in God who raises the dead.
We all face hard times that seem beyond what we can endure, but these moments teach us to lean on Jesus instead of our own strength. As we put our confidence in Him, we discover that God is faithful—He has rescued us before, He rescues us now, and He will continue to rescue us again and again.
Be encouraged today to stop leaning on the arm of flesh and start leaning on Jesus. He is strong, He is faithful, and He will never fail you.
