Tonight on the Bass Fishing for Noobs show we welcome Ken Glassner Sr. of Ken’s Jigs to the show. Ken runs his own business making a wide variety of jig heads and other products. Ken's weedless Ned rig heads have made fishing the Ned rig on the Susquehanna so much better, helping to avoid snags so much better than a normal mushroom style Ned head with an exposed hook. It has become a staple on Sean’s kayak and has lead to many more catches.
We start by learning a bit about Ken and how he got in to fishing and making his own baits. We then jump in to all the different products Ken produces as well as different ways they can be used. Ken has many different products available from underspins, darter heads, tube heads, ball head jigs, and ned heads, available in a ton of different colors. But perhaps one of the best reasons to give Ken’s jigs a try is his ability to customize the jigs he offers. With over 60 different molds at his disposal, Ken is able to customize many of his products. Need a longer hook shank, or a different size hook or hook style?
