Episode Synopsis

In this episode we go a little deeper into why Paul quotes Genesis 2:7 in 1 Corinthians 15:45, and what this tells us about the role Jesus plays in relation to the story of Adam. When Paul calls Jesus the "last" Adam, he wants us to see Jesus as completing the developmental process that Adam started, but was never able to finish. Because Christ made it to the finish line - a glorified, resurrected body, fully empowered by the Spirit -  he made it possible for us to join him there, sharing in his victory with us.
