Jan Guenther has a lifelong passion for endurance sports, specifically x/c skiing, triathlons and mtn biking. To reflect her knowledge and love for outdoor adventure and racing, she and her husband started Gear West Ski and Bike, a specialty sports campus just west of Mpls in MN. For over 30 years they have built Gear West to become a powerhouse in aiding all levels of skiing biking and running customers to reach their fitness dreams. Specifically Jan focuses on introducing women to sports by knocking down barriers. The creation of her women only clinics reduces the fear of participation and escalates their knowledge and fun of the sport.  After finishing her MBA in business school, Jan left the corporate world at the age of 25 to own and run her own business and train and race.
