Listen "House Arrest"
Episode Synopsis
Imagine being sent home from prison to house arrest and 3 years later being sent back! During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Federal Bureau of Prisons released nearly 13,000 high risk incarcerated individuals to home confinement. These individuals were able to gain employment and help support their families both emotionally and financially. Even though the program under the CARES act has proven to be a measurable success, a Senate proposal would send thousands of people back into federal prisons. In this episode of On The Recyard Women's Prison Podcast, co-hosts Marci Marie and Toonche share some stories of those affected by the CARES act releases and their thoughts on what it looks like to be on house arrest. #prison #federalprison #housearrest
