David has been on over 100 TV shows including Bloombeg and Fox TV. Was nominated as Icon of Whiskey. There is picture of him in a church. He is a smart dude with two degrees one in biology and the other in environmental science He is also a stud jock having come to the states on a soccer scholarship. Upon graduation owned a successful whiskey bar. The Balvenie was created by Malt Master David Stewart who is in his 50th year at the distillery. It is the only distillery that grows its own barley, uses traditional floor maltings and keeps coppersmiths and coopers on site thereby making The Balvenie the most handcrafted of malts The distillery is owned by Grant and Sons Holdings for 5 generations.
