There are currently 89 unidentified Jane and John Doe cases across Orange County. Bob Taft, retired Detective from the Orange County Sheriff’s Homicide Detail, is working part-time with the Coroner’s office to use DNA genealogy to identify these persons and find family members. Taft covers a Jane Doe who was recently identified as Maritza Glean Grimmett. Plus the Lonnie Thomas homicide case and Michael Schlicht, a 17 year old who is likely a victim of Randy Kraft, the “Scorecard Killer.” Anyone with information related to these cases is encouraged to contact Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS or crimestoppers.org.
