Grace Detrevarah was born in Detroit, Michigan to an automobile industry family and moved to New York City as a teenager. In this interview, she discusses running away and the drag queens and trans women who protected her, religion and spirituality, incarceration, attending NYU Tisch School of the Arts, "revolutionary girls" like herself, and transgender healthcare.
