Vickie has dedicated her career to advancing palliative and hospice care, holding leadership roles at Duke University Hospital and serving as Interim Executive Director at the Social Work Hospice & Palliative Care Network (SWHPN). She is currently an adjunct professor at UNC-Chapel Hill and a mentor for the Zelda Foster Fellowship. Vickie’s work focuses on healthcare provider wellness, with a special emphasis on debriefing practices.
