Episode Synopsis

Carrie Moore, Harvard women's basketball coach joins this week's episode of ​⁠Not Even D2. Carrie enters her fourth year leading the Crimson after leading the program to their 1st Ivy League championship in program history. The hosts cover all of Carrie's exceptional career including being one of the best players to play at Western Michigan to now leading Harvard to heights never reached. Coach Moore talks about what made the 2024-25 group special and how they plan to build off of the success. The Crimson were a top 5 scoring defense in the entire country, only allowing 52.9 ppg helping the group to a 24-5 overall record. Before coming to Harvard, Coach Moore was an assistant coach at the University of Michigan where she helped the 2021-22 Wolverines reach the Elite 8. Moore was also an assistant at North Carolina where she was the lead recruiter that brought in nationally ranked classes year to year. Her first stint as an assistant coach was at Princeton before she took her career to Creighton. With all of her different experiences, Moore gave her perspective on the different schools and what she learned from each coach that she coached under. Before coaching, Moore was an elite WBB player who currently holds the record for the most points scored (2,216) at the University of Western Michigan. On top of what allowed her to be successful during her playing career, Moore talks about how her career has shaped her coaching style.
