It's the Michael and Richard show this week, and we've got a good one to start the year off right. The guys open with a couple of New Year's Resolutions for 2019. In Games Played, they escape the zombie horde in Left 4 Dead on Xbox One through backward compatibility. Richard stays on the Valve train by experiencing the original Half-Life on PC. Michael is reconstructing game endings in both The Stanley Parable and 428: Shibuya Scramble, and enabling various game assists in Celeste for Xbox One.

In news, Konami may be ready to celebrate their back catalog, Atlus is teasing new Persona 5 related projects, and the studio behind Celeste has cancelled their follow-up project. January's Xbox Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus titles have been announced, and we throw the month's new Xbox GamePass games into the list.
