Joseph and Mary leave Nazareth to travel to Bethlehem for a mandatory census. Mary gives birth to her firstborn and God's only begotten Son, Jesus. Since there was no room at the inn, He had a lowly birth and was laid in a manger. Angels praised God and delivered good news to shepherds that our Savior was born. This would bring blessings to all people made right with God through trusting faith in the Lord.
