In rural areas, leadership is essential to the development of communities. In areas with smaller populations, volunteers often fill leadership positions, with many community members taking on multiple roles. The 2022 Nebraska Rural Poll sought to find out how residents in or near rural communities feel about their leadership. Becky Vogt, survey research manager with the Nebraska Rural Poll, discusses the findings.
