Nate says that there are three keys that make good teams and good coaches successful in sports. He says they must stand tall, listen, and show courage. He says the same about life. In the second segment, he talks about his thoughts on the wildcard format in Major League Baseball and he says that he doesn't agree with the one game winner take all format. He thinks that the NBA and NHL have it right but he acknowledges that Rob Manfred knows it's a problem and will work to fix it even if he won't publicly acknowledge it. He closes the show with Card of the Day.
