Listen "Defining Our Asian American Identity with Sharon Kim"
Episode Synopsis
In our second episode, we're talking about cultural identity. We'll have a dialogue about our experiences growing up Asian in America, talk about how we respond to "Where are you REALLY from?", and more. We'll also talk about how to figure out what your cultures mean to you, from living a life in between. The experiences shared in this episode are going to be mostly about the Asian American experience, but there are a lot of commonalities and relatable themes for anyone who's ever had to live between different identities. I am joined by Sharon Kim who is a product/content intern at a mental health startup. She also works as a mental health therapist on the side. Her goal is to learn how to build healthy/safe communities on online creative platforms.
