Andrea Lewis is well known as Hazel Aden in “Degrassi: The Next Generation” and so many other projects. Today, she is giving us her take on her role as Naima in an original Mahogany presentation “A Nashville Legacy,” playing on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. This film is opening our eyes to the history of music. It is filmed on location at the National Museum of African American Music in Nashville, Tennessee which is rich with music history. She chats about what the film means to her and her experience with the filmmaker and her leading man Pooch Hall (Damian). We talk about how she prepares for the lead role, how she protects her energy, and how she starts her day (hint, gratitude). Andrea wants us to know the importance of chasing your dreams.
