Long-running sitcom "The Adventures of Barella and Bologna, Mood Killers" based on a radio show of the same name, is one of the shows that epitomized the values of the all-American nuclear family. The series stars real-life married couple Edwin Barstello (Eddie Barella) and Harriet Tavaputs as well as their sons, Marconi (Bologna) and Ricky the bastard love child of an affair Edwin had while he and his wife Harriet were ON A BREAK!!... The focus of the series is on the Barella's home life as they deal with run-of-the-mill problems, like raccoons getting into the supplies, Ricky's meth addiction, Marconi's love for gooey desserts, and other issues that families face.
