"I" am but a river of happenings
Called into configuration
As a transformation.
The conditions of one moment
Into the moment next.

"I" am but a river of perceptions:
The quality of consciousness.
Tonal, visual, tactile, mental and so on.

The river flows through me.
Or such a happening I perceive.

I let what feelings and thoughts
I'd take o be a body and a mind,
Be but a river of happenings.

I sense how the river,
Flows all through me.
As a felt aliveness,
As a whole being energy,
As a stream of energy experiences,
In dynamic with all else in the river,
In the river of happenings.

I let my body and mind,
Be moved by the energy.
Or such a thing I perceive happening.

There is no "I" sitting separate,
On the edge of its experience.
Our subjective experience of each moment,
Shorn of memory and imagination,
The necessarily assumed past and future,
Does not bear this out.

We don't suffer a visual illusion of
Our consciousness about its own nature.
A delusion have we but,
And one so deep and so with,
Feelings caught up,
That we assume our consciousness of
Being conscious when deluded to be
Our normal self.
Our identity as a phenomenon in a world,
As if it were a container,
Separated from the contained.
