Listen "Pathways"
Episode Synopsis
When you're on a trip or adventure, it's important to have some kind of guide. Maybe that guide is an actual person who has traveled that way before or maybe it's a map. Whatever the case, following the guide will get you to your destination. Not following your guide will get you lost or worse. Going your own way sounds nice initially, and it can certainly seem like the easier way. After all, you get to call the shots. Ultimately it has the more costly destination. In Matthew 7, the Lord Jesus describes two pathways as He closes His famous Sermon on the Mount. One pathway is wide and easy, and the other is narrow and difficult, and He describes some of the results with a certain degree of shocking description. Why is this the case though? Why wouldn't the path to eternal life be the easier one to find and follow? Why should we be so on guard against deception and false prophets? That's what we're talking about in this week's episode of Monday Moments!
