Welcome to The ModelGeeks Podcast. Well, Show and Contest season is upon us! Alright we’ve discussed model contests before here on the Geeks but let’s talk shows/contests from the perspective of being “in show season”! We’re in the midst of planning our first show down here in Pax River (PAXCON23), and we’re learning really quickly how much work goes into planning and running a successful, i.e. FUN, model show and contest. Call it a contest, call it a show we’re there to see what’s on the tables. Let’s leave judging off the table, and talk about what we like…and indeed dislike, about going to a model show with your buddies.We’ll also give a run-down of what’s new out there in kits, aftermarket, upcoming shows, and other news around the hobby.
