We have absolutely lost the ability to be where we are at any given moment. We look at social media while we eat and focus on another person and time, completely ignoring our present action. We lay in bed next to our spouse and check emails that we missed, worried about another person and time, completely ignoring the moment. We go to a live event with friends and worry about sharing the experience with people online who aren’t even there, completely detached from the moment. If you want life to slow down…be entirely where you are at all times and fully exist within the present moment.
