Episode Synopsis "Why do we need a coach or a mentor? "
Welcome to Mentor Coach Project Flash Brief, Why do we need a coach or a mentor? Marcus Aurelius, the roman emperor who was adopted by a man called Antoninus who in turn was adopted by the emperor Hadrian was basically commissioned to prepare Marcus to succeed Hadrian as an emperor. So Antoninus mentored Marcus presenting valuable lessons like compassion, unwavering adherence to decisions once he reached them, indifference to superficial honor, persistence, listen to anyone who wanted to contribute to the public good. A sense to when to push and when to back off. This mentoring made Marcus Aurelius great, what drove him to express his thoughts, weaknesses and trials in what became the book Meditations. We are never to meek or to great to have a mentor or coach in our lives. MCP.com
