Listen "Understanding underdoctoring: the historical perspective"
Episode Synopsis
Mapping Doctors is an NIHR-funded multi-disciplinary research project at Lancaster University. We are exploring and mapping underdoctored areas, in particular the impact of medical training pathways on NHS workforce distribution and health inequalities. In this episode Euan Lawson and Dr Liz Brewster are joined by Dr Michael Lambert to talk about his work exploring the historical perspective to under doctoring and how that has contributed to Mapping Doctors. Note: This study is funded by the NIHR but the views expressed are those of the members of the team and are not necessarily those of the NIHR or the Department of Health and Social Care.Attribution: Podcast theme music by Transistor.fm.
