Listen "Women’s Public Ordinations at Adhisthana"
Episode Synopsis
Women’s Public Ordinations at Adhisthana
Ten women from across the Triratna Buddhist Community will be publicly Ordained on Tuesday 4th May between 2 and 3 pm. Some of the ceremonies will be at Adhisthana in Herefordshire, including that of our very own Robin Ellis. The public Ordinations follow their private ones on Thursday 29th April. This is a very significant step in someone’s spiritual life.
The event isn’t being live-streamed this time, so on the day, we can simply bring to mind our friend Robin and her many qualities, and send her and the other women lots of metta, or loving-kindness.
