As Millennials and Gen-Zers we are young and optimistic and of course we all want to see ourselves reaching our career climax in our 20s, but is it realistic and should graduates really be expecting meteoritic success at such a young age? The internet and magazines are filled with articles about ‘essential career moves’ and showing off young individuals who are ‘ones to watch’ and that’s great, we all want to see young people succeeding! But have we only 'made it' if we see our faces in those pages? It's most definitely not the norm, and we should not feel like it is.
