Rob Zabel talks to Jen about the Elizabeth 8k road race in Charlotte.  In its 37th year, the Elizabeth 8k road race is a staple in Charlotte.  By focusing on the overall experience,  the Elizabeth 8k has created a wonderful partnership in the community.  Money raised from the event is given back to local initiatives that support activities like Tree Charlotte and the beautification of the Elizabeth area of Charlotte .Creating a "runners" race makes this is fun, family activity.  Playful aid and cheer stations, support from local vendors, and a route that takes runners through historic areas of Charlotte make this event a must-do.
