Welcome to Majors & Minors at Cal Poly Humboldt!This show takes a close look at the rich academic offerings of our campus and all of the areas of study that can be pursued as a student. Each episode features an interview with a Department Chair or a Professor and focuses on the specifics of an area of study and the value of that pursuit both inside the college experience and beyond. Josh Meisel is on the show today as the Chair of the Department of Sociology. We discuss all that is going on in the field of sociology and how it has changed and evolved over time. We also dive into the details of majors and programs that make this department unique, including the Criminology and Justice Studies Program and the Cannabis Studies Lab.
