Welcome to Majors & Minors at Cal Poly Humboldt!This show takes a close look at the rich academic offerings of our campus and all of the areas of study that can be pursued as a student. Each episode features an interview with a Department Chair or a Professor and focuses on the specifics of an area of study and the value of that pursuit both inside the college experience and beyond. Sharyn Marks is on the show today as the Chair of the Department of Biological Sciences⁠. We go over many topics, from her time as a student discovering her love for studying animals, to her experience as a teacher and all about the curriculum at Cal Poly Humboldt and the benefits for students of studying in the larger region.
