It was touch and go for a while if this concept, commonly seen in Japan would actually work in the U.S. When you have no box thinking, creativity and funding, anything can happen. Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue  was founded by Lana Bajsel through her sheer desire to help the most vulnerable animals at risk.
