Welcome to Health or Hoax - The show that empowers people to make informed choices about their own health, by taking a critical look at the research on popular healthcare claims. We are healthcare students on a journey for truth, looking to make it easier for YOU to understand if the fads, diets, and treatments you’ve been sold are HEALTH, or a HOAX.   
At the end of each episode we do our best to reach a conclusion about the topic of discussion, but we acknowledge that science and healthcare are ALWAYS evolving, and therefore our conclusions (like all conclusions) are never final, they are always open to further critique, and we reserve the right to change our opinions at any time in the future in light of new evidence and research!   
More than anything, this show is an exercise in critical thinking which hopefully teaches you a little bit about HOW to make informed healthcare choices, rather than telling you exactly WHAT to think. In other words - this video is not a substitute for professional and personal healthcare! Feel encouraged to use the research from this show to form questions to ask your own doctor, but remember, we (and the internet in general) are NOT your doctor.
