This is Episode 47 of the Love Sweetie Podcast.  This episode features four letters that were written by Sweetie in April and May 1946.  Some of the content of these letters is Sweetie reflecting on the recent family tragedy, but much of the letters show her focus on wanting to find a new home for herself, her husband, Lew, and her son, Lewis.  Unfortunately, the housing market in early 1946 is extremely difficult, as so many other families are attempting to do the same.  Sweetie gets to a certain point in these letters in which it appears she is looking for a major reason to turn around - to leave Pennsylvania and return to her family in Iowa - but the most important thing is that she clings to hope - hope that her situation will improve soon.  In doing so, she teaches us all that no matter what, we must keep moving forward, and never give up despite how difficult things may become.For more information, please go to www.lovesweetiepodcast.com.
