Episode Synopsis
I encourage making websites by hand for two reasons:
To learn what a website—at its minimum—really is.
To be independent from any system or service.
Will you make mistakes? Sure. Will it be frustrating? Sure. But hand-writing my site is so rewarding. I’m able to post and edit so frequently because I enjoy the process.
When people say I should do things differently, I think about how quickly and easily I post, and I honestly can’t see how it could be any better.
