"Lions and tigers and bears, oh my", this turkey hunt got "western" real quick!Aaron joined his best friend, known as Nick the Great,  for a day of chasing Merriams around the eastern breaks of the Cascade Mountain range of Washington State. Nick the Great is a new-ish turkey hunter and the guys were in pursuit of Nick's first bird.The two hunters covered some beautiful country, found ample turkey sign, heard and saw grouse, deer and inadvertently had a  "danger close" encounter with a sow black bear and two cubs. Thankfully no harm came to all parties involved.
