Jeffrey R. Gustafson is the President and Partner of R & D Realty & Management Ltd., established in 1973. R & D manages over 400 units, and its partners collectively own more than 380 residential properties in the Chicago suburbs.Jeff began his real estate career in 1985, helping his parents manage family-owned units while studying Finance and Economics at Elmhurst College, where he earned his B.S. in 1990. During this time, he also founded JRG Midwest Snow Removal, which grew to over 100 accounts before he sold it in 1998.After college, Jeff obtained his real estate license and began expanding the family portfolio, purchasing multifamily properties and forming J.E.R. & Associates with his father and brother in 1994. Under his leadership as President since 1997, R&D grew significantly, diversifying into condo management and laundry leasing.In 2017, Jeff and his business partner Alan Rose expanded to Florida, acquiring and renovating 256 units in Palm City and later 172 units in Stuart.
