And we gave her a baby doll. And we very quickly realized that the only way she would really be compliant at times when she needed to take medication or needed to shower, or we even needed her to eat more, was if she had her baby. ~ Tonja Moon

"My work with the elderly started with caring for my sweet grandmother, Ruby Sims who suffered from Dementia. The days were hard and long but love-filled. My grandmother loved designer clothes, designer dogs, big bold jewelry, vanilla ice cream, and pedicures...but most of all she loved her
grandbabies! In the end, it was simply a baby doll that brought her comfort, during times of agitation and extreme confusion."
