When a child has disabilities it is natural for parents to worry about their future as an adult. Kim sits down with Cynda Green the Texas Parent to Parent Pathways to Adulthood Transition Coordinator to discuss the steps you need to take and when.

Bio:
Cynda is the Texas Parent to Parent Pathways to Adulthood Transition Coordinator. She provides support through talking with parents whose children are transition-age and facilitating the Pathways to Adulthood transition training across the state. She has two children; her son is 19 and her daughter is 26 she has Autism, epilepsy, and ID. She serves on several advisory boards to bring the parent's voices to the table. She is a current advocate in the 2021 Partners and Policy Making class. Her own personal experience has guided her to TxP2P where she supports other parents with a positive attitude and lots of enthusiasm to help families create a Good Life for their youth after graduation from public school.
