Ashton Palmer is a full-time swim coach, working as the head age group coach of Wasatch Front Fish Market, Utah's premiere club swim team.
She also coaches the Cottonwood High School swim and water polo teams.
Ashton has two swimmers in her program who are transgender and have been banned from competing. I talk with Ashton about the ramifications of such a ban, and how we can support these young people.
