Underdo is a doing word therefore it is a verb.

To underdo is to do something inadequately, or not do enough of something.

An example of the word underdo used in a sentence would be:

He's worried that he will underdo his performance and be judged negatively for it.

Or, They asked the chef to underdo the grilled pineapples, they like them fresh and juicy with light grilling.

Synonyms: undercook, underprepare, half-bake, parboil, underplay.

Antonyms: overdo, overprepare, burn, overcook, exaggerate.
