Completing our celebration of Women's History Month, in this episode we are talking di tings with the woman responsible for my drive and ability to continue to strive for excellence regardless of obstacles placed in my way. The queen of grace, eloquence and all things fabulous, my Mom! We have been celebrating women who have made history in their own way, and for this final episode, I had to celebrate my Mom, the woman who was my first example of what it means to be fearless and fabulous. She is a part of Jamaican history as one of the first selected flight attendants from London, England for the inaugural flights of Air Jamaica in the 1970s...On this episode, my mom shares her experience as an Air Jamaica flight attendant, reflections of how she has navigated womanhood over the years, motherly advise for young women, particularly those that are ambitious and weary that their ambition or uniqueness will be too much for a potential partner, being okay with being misunderstood, and so much more. This episode will definitely make any Jamaican or Caribbean person who had the pleasure of flying Air Jamaica, nostalgic, as well as experience some a ha moment between mother and daughter. So grab your tea, coffee, or a glass of wine, and let's talk di tings! Also, please remember to rate, review, and follow the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
