Episode Synopsis

Conducted by OnePoll for INTIMINA, the survey revealed
several barriers preventing women from exercising enough. Key findings included
that 49% of women feel too tired to work out, 47% find exercising difficult,
and 42% lack sufficient time. Additionally, one-third of women reported not
seeing results from their workouts, which contributes to feelings of insecurity
(12%) and hopelessness (12%).

The PYMNTS Intelligence report, titled “2024 Women’s
Wellness Index,” based on surveys with over 10,000 U.S. consumers, indicated
that nearly 83% of women without children regularly seek preventive healthcare.
In contrast, mothers are 14% less likely to do the same, with only 71% of moms
obtaining preventive medical care. About one-quarter of mothers only seek care
in emergencies or when problems arise. Furthermore, moms are 6.5% less likely
to receive regular preventive dental care compared to single women without
children.

The report also noted that women tend to prioritize the
healthcare of their loved ones above their own. Women who live alone have
higher levels of overall wellness than those who care for children, likely due
to the increased responsibilities associated with motherhood. This often leads
mothers to allocate less of their income toward their personal health.
