Listen "Developing A Relationship with Jesus Providing You Clarity and Purpose with: Desiree Taylor"
Episode Synopsis
The National Council on Aging
reports that among Americans aged 12 and older, mild hearing loss is most
common, affecting 37.1 million people. More than half (about 20.8 million) of
those affected are adults aged 60 and older. About half of Americans (47%)
describe themselves as religious, 33% say they are spiritual but not religious,
and 2% say they are “both.” Although the vast majority of U.S. adults have one
of these orientations toward the nonphysical world, the 18% who say they are
neither religious nor spiritual is twice the proportion Gallup measured when it
first asked this question in 1999. Over the same period, the percentage
identifying as religious has declined by seven percentage points, according to
Gallup News. Desiree Taylor, is an author and speaker with a heart full of love
for women in every situation and season, connecting them to Jesus, the only one
who brings life-changing transformation, and walking together with them on
earth as they journey towards heaven. She is a wife to her husband Duane and a
mom of two adult sons, Kyle and David. She enjoys sharing about marriage and
the different stages of parenting, especially the adult parenting journey she
is on now. Desiree is a bilateral cochlear implant recipient and has the heart
to share her hearing loss journey with others through writing and speaking. Her
experience has given her a compassionate heart towards those with physical and
mental struggles, and she loves to share those stories on her website. When
Desiree is not writing, she is reading a good book with a hot cup of tea,
spending time with family or friends, or looking for new experiences to live.
