Listen "Let's Go Do Musical Fun"
Episode Synopsis
In downtown St. Paul, there is a small and yet extremely robust museum hidden within the historic Landmark Center. The museum is the Schubert Museum of Music, though if you have heard of it, you probably know it as the Schubert Club. But no longer! We got a tour of the museum with Kate Cooper who is the museum and education director. This is part 1 of a 2 part series. Make sure you subscribe and follow to get the full experience.

The American Swedish Institute upped its game for families with very young kids by creating the Kids at the Castle and Babies at the Castle. Our whole family enjoyed Kids at the Castle with this incredibly engaging program. Sit in the middle of the foyer for a story or activity, explore, the castle, and make a craft. It’s so fun and I love to visit as much as the little guys.
FamilyJam is a new free program for kids and families at the Schubert Club Music Museum in St. Paul's Landmark Center which comprises short 25-30 minute concerts followed by Music Museum activities, including hands-on instrument playing, instrument demonstrations and musician meet and greets. All FamilyJam concerts and Music Museum admission are free, and registration is required.
While this winter wasn’t so very wintery, it has still been fairly drab and our bodies probably still suffered from some atrophying. The best cure for this is some movement. And InnerCity Tennis on Nicollet Ave in Minneapolis has what you need. Free tennis on Saturday afternoons. You can come whenever you can. For ages 3-18
