Listen "37. 5 Years Gone"
Episode Synopsis
Today we're going to talk about how every year since my mom passed away has been significant, as much life has been lived and many things have changed. I try to feel her energy and what she would think, and I feel that she would be okay with how things have played out and understanding of some of the things that have happened. My mother would be proud of me for the way I have handled tough conversations, such as acknowledging my faults and expressing the other party's faults openly. Since her passing, I have found my voice and gone from being shy to being more aggressive and not backing down. “You don't forget the person, you don't forget the experience with that person, you don't forget their existence.” In this episode, I talked about: Things that have changed since she passed away. Taking the initiative to get family together. Driving through the town I grew up in. You don’t forget the person. Learn how to cope and learn how to cope.
