Listen "21. Stages of Grief: Depression"

Episode Synopsis

We'll discuss depression, which is the third stage. Nowadays, the majority of people experience this stage for a considerable amount of their lives while they are grieving the loss of a loved one. From one to person, it differs. At this point, some people are more likely to feel comfortable and hang around there for a while. I still experience challenging moments and days, which is very normal. These days, though, may easily turn into a week, two weeks, or even a month if I'm not careful. This was a term that, in the past, I believed was associated with losing a loved one.   “There was a select few that could tell like in my voice, that I was not having a good day, or I just wasn't myself. And when they would bring that to my attention, it's like, I would have to shift the way I talked. And I didn't want to engage people to ask me what was wrong, or what was going on.”   In this episode, I will talk about: What is depression and how does it affect you? What is the meaning of ‘putting a mask’ on to get through the day. How grief is like a quiet stage.  Connect with me:Facebook Group Let Me Walk With You Community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/322526396739064 Instagram: @nicolepalarczyk TikTok: @nicolepalarczyk
