Former Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt is back for another episode of Lean Local. This week Jim focuses on alcoholism in Wisconsin. Jim is joined by Bruce Bellen and John Plageman of ADRC of Brown County. John and Bruce share their thoughts on alcoholism in Wisconsin in the late 1900’s. John shares how he works to get people who need help in to AA meetings. Bruce shares personal stories with alcohol and how he overcame it on the road to a recovering alcoholic. John and Bruce talk about interventions. Jim, Bruce, and John talk about the drinking culture in Wisconsin.
