Listen "24. Quitting Your Corporate Job and Coming Back to the Farm with Mary Pat Sass"
Episode Synopsis
Today’s guest is the one and only Mary Pat Sass! I am so excited about this conversation because we’re discussing what led Mary Pat to leave her corporate career to come back to her husband's family farming operation and raise her kids as a stay at home mom and become a multi-passionate entrepreneur.
I know this topic will resonate with so many listeners because for so many of us, it’s on our heart to leave our corporate job to be more present with our family and our operation. But, the off-farm income is so important to our livelihood. In today’s episode, Mary Pat shares her story of navigating this big decision and leaning into what her new roles on their operation look like.
Mary Pat Sass is a farm wife and mom who grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. She married a grain farmer from Illinois and now farms alongside her husband's parents, his two brothers, and their families. She shares their farming story on social media and focuses on connecting with other farm women, hoping to inspire them to find the roles that fill their cups. She also enjoys educating consumers on farm basics.
