Pastors Matt and Nik led us in a fantastic reflection on the growth that has taken place in the time since we received the New Years' mandate to build up the body. Through setting the table for our brothers and engaging in Team Unity Formation meetings, the Lord has matured us through cycles of death and resurrection. We were reminded that although the sifting is an absolutely necessary and God-ordained, it is not the point of God's working. The point is to draw us near to our brothers and to share in God's goodness together. Like Judah and his brothers, we must engage in "Team Drinking" and not closet drinking. The pattern that we see in scripture is one that we receive from the heavens together, as a unit, and that is our endeavor.
