Oscar Romero Jorge, a first-gen immigrant, and a passionate software engineer. He is a DACAmented Mexican American and an activist for equity and inclusion. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a minor in computer engineering.
Oscar has worked on numerous projects such as VotemosNC, a bilingual space for the Latinx community to get information about elections and voting, google drive and docs API integration, WordPress authentication, as well as started a blog titled “my undocu life” about life as an undocumented individual in the United States.
