If the mission wasn't over, and in fact God was doing something incedible and new, why was the one Jesus hand-seleted for leadership acting like he wasn't a part of it anymore? Because he had failed, his self-image and confidence had been shaken, and now he was stuck. But the power of the resurrectioin includes the getting unstuck and back on mission.
