KRNU: A Retrospective is a 6-part series covering the history of 90.3 KRNU and the memories made inside the booth on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.Host Sam Broderson talks to former and current faculty, staff and students about their memories of the station and details the KRNU by the decades to celebrate its milestone 50th anniversary.In the third episode of our KRNU Retrospective, we learn about the creation of specialty shows and hear from some of the founders and hosts of those shows from the 1990s. We also will hear popular songs from the era and follow KRNU as they find their niche as a college rock/alternative station.
